Kaddish for my Jewish Friend

Comparison is the beginning of intolerance. So many men and women have missed out on chances for friendship. David, an old Holocaust survivor nearly never met Mehdi, a young ambitious Muslim, but life decided otherwise and it is their touching story of friendship that I wanted to recount. 

Going beyond our differences, we are all dust and to dust we shall return. Our two peoples can write the most wonderful pages in the history of humanity and thus show the world just how similar we are.
