Matthew Wants a Puppy

One night Matthew dreamed that he was playing with a beautiful puppy. The following morning over breakfast, he told his parents about his dream and how he now wants a puppy. His parents, unsure whether to allow him to have a puppy, send him to school and tell him they will let him know their decision when he arrives back from school. Matthew is a good kid who does well academically and behaves properly, but throughout his day at school, he continues to think about the puppy and hopes his parents grant his wish. Matthew comes home from school, and his parents let him know of their decision to grant him his wish of having a beautiful puppy. Matthew’s mom requests him to go to his room and drop his bookbag so they can go look for a puppy. When Matthew enters his room, he is surprised to see a beautiful puppy.
