Murder in Mesopotamia Murder in Mesopotamia

Descripción editorial

Poirot is brought to the site of a dig in Iraq after the murder of the wife, Louise, of the head archaeologist, Mr. Leidner. She’d been living in fear, and Leidner employs a nurse, Miss Leatheram to deal with her.

Nurse Leatheram, is a no-nonsense, capable woman, who quickly sees that not only is Louise’s fear genuine, but there are all sorts of odd tensions amongst the European and American members of the dig.

Poirot quickly drafts Nurse Leatheram to aid him, soliciting her impressions and recollections as a way to assist his little grey cells to weed out extraneous and irrelevant information, much like he used Hastings
