PACHINKO (パチンコ) - Japanese Casino shows many gorgeous and unique apperance of Pachinko as if you feel like seeing the Las Vegas Casinos of Japan. Pachinko in Japan actually represents the American-styled Entertainment Industry since Japanese accepted the American capitalism after World War II.

 

A Brooklyn-based photographer Yongki Hwang traveled the cities of Japan where he studied M.F.A. at University of Kyushu Sangyo. Driving along the local routes From Kagoshima, the southwest tip of Kyushu, Osaka, and Tokyo to Sapporo, the northern island of Japan, he captured the splendid night views of Pachinko. With photographs of 50 Japanese Casino, Yongki Hwang tried to convey the recent modern history of Korea & Japan just as a botanist makes a phylogenetic tree.
