Photographs and commentary on the life and short times of a band that formed in the San Francisco Bay area in 1979.

Larry (the Boss) and his brother Danny (the Strong One), formed a Power Pop band with John (the Assassin) and Stu (the Cute One). They named the band The Best.

They are joined by Jack (the Producer) Gerald (the Manager) and Pussy (the Photographer) as they record an album but perform only one time before they meet their fate.
