Descripción editorial
In the 1880s, tired of politics, a young Theodore Roosevelt “retired” to a cattle ranch in North Dakota. There the future president learned to ride western style, rope and hunt. He began writing about frontier life for Eastern magazines, and published this memoir of life in the West. This edition contains illustrations by noted Western artist Frederic Remington.
