This, the third book in the Rick Wade mystery series, sub-titled, A Time to Reap, is the account of a case in which Rick and his associates are challenged to locate a missing person. They begin with a few bits of information, many questions and no answers. This case does not deal with a homicide but rather an entanglement of subterfuge, deceit and deception. The situation is replete with dishonorable people in high positions who are involved in fraud and double-dealing. Lydia Kroger, a pretty heiress and business woman, cannot be located. What this portends is unknown. Is she absent by choice or does it herald something far more sinister? Rick’s agency contracts to locate the missing lady. As he and his associates delve into the state of affairs, they soon find themselves entangled with far more than a missing person.
