Following the events of Rogue Assembly, Rogue, an escaped soldier named Lat and a genetically enhanced talking Kawaii Kitten, have been playing it safe. The switch to low risk jobs has kept the bills paid and is slowly adding to Rogue's account, but they can't keep that up forever. At the pace they're earning it'll take years for Rogue to buy a real combat ready ship.
They've been trying to ignore the war and keep a low profile, but her oldest enemy has a long reach.
