Saraswati Maa

Mother Saraswati is the goddess of education, learning and knowledge. According to a Puraanic narrative goddess Saraswati to begin with was the consort of Lord Vishnu Himself. But later on a part of her person flowed in the form of River Saraswati on the earth and another part went over to Brahma. She is seated on a white lotus and spreads the light of knowledge in the world while playing upon the Veena.
