This book supports the development of social media as a tool to develop Initial Teacher Training at the University of South Wales. Technology plays a big part in the delivery of lessons and the learning of students, beyond that, social media can support teachers in developing new ideas and making online reputations as the students look to get their first jobs.
Over the course of the year we have developed the students use of social media from the classroom to now fully engaging in Twitter conversations with educators from around the world.
The book documents the process and highlights the successes and next steps that we will take to further develop the use.
