Standing Lumbosacral CSF Collection in the Horse
Descripción editorial
Veterinary students often indicate that it is difficult to envision the anatomical landmarks used to collect cerebrospinal fluid from the lumbosacral region of the horse, as well as the path the needle takes during the procedure. To address these difficulties, this interactive book was created to make the anatomy of this region easier to understand, to highlight the steps take to prepare for and perform this procedure, and to introduce the types of samples that might be obtained. To achieve these goals, 2-D illustrations, 3-D rotatable models, and a combination of 3-D models and video clips were incorporated into this interactive book.
