TABLE FOR ONE: The Standard is a gourmet’s dream.  

Jacques Rousseau owns Chicago's Chez Rousseau, the premiere restaurant in Chicago.  Rousseau apprenticed in France with the legendary Pierre Letreuce and is now a world-class chef with Michelin stars in his culinary galaxy and a massive foodie following in America.  

Rousseau and his team find themselves innocently caught in a web of police and political intrigue and the target of dangerous adversaries, namely a crooked District Attorney and his secret business partner, a real estate mogul intent on taking over Rousseau's brand.

The chef must seek protection from the vicious Mafia chief, Don Anthony Cribaldi, in order to keep his brand intact and those around him safe, while the police track and hunt a serial killer loose in Chicago.
