St. Ignatius of Loyola  was the founder of the Society of Jesus, known as the Jesuits. After being injured in the Battle of Pamplona in 1521, St. Ignatius was inspired to devote his life to God, and created the Society of Jesus in 1540.   The Constitution of the Jesuits was translated by Oliver Thatcher and inclues a table of contents.
