The Jones family are known across Manchester for their chauffeur business. From the rich and powerful to those who just need to appear so, John Jones and his family have been listening to secrets from the front seat for years. He doesn’t judge who gets in, or what they get up to in the back of his motors. But all the secrets in the world can’t protect him when he gets a cancer diagnosis.

His children know they’ve got big shoes to fill – and John’s daughter Samantha realises she can defy everyone’s idea of her as an airhead to take on the firm. But to do so, it means a deal with local gang kingpin, Big Ron Roberts. Sam’s ready to step up but it means getting caught up in the real down and dirty deals that happen in the shadows.
