A serial killer is on the prowl in Charlotte, killing his victims by draining them of their blood. The killer must be a vampire, right? Well if it isn't a vampire who and why? These are questions that Cassandra must answer while dealing with Jared MacAllistair, the vampire king of Charlotte.
