The Last Trail

"The Last Trail" is the third book in Zane Grey's Ohio River Valley Trilogy, the first two being "Betty Zane" and "The Spirit of the Border" in that order. Based on historical characters "The Last Trail" is the story of Lew Wetzel and Jonathan Zane who are fast on the trail of a gang of rustlers and Ohio Valley Indians, led by Simon Girty and Bing Leggitt, to rescue a woman kidnapped from Fort Henry.
