Beautiful
Full of emotional ups and downs. It mixes a Harry Potter and Narnia world with real life difficulties, somehow making magic seem more real and down to earth. Even after having watched the series before reading this book its still full of surprises, the plot is not as similar as I expected it to be. The book is full of scenes that will fill you with horror, pity, sadness, joy, curiosity and a couple of mild s** scenes as well as lots and lots of love.
Really worth reading if you like magic and fantasy.
All my respect to Lev Grossman.
