Mobius of Magic is an iOS and Android video game created by a single person. While creating the video game, I usually found myself looking for “makings of” other video games to understand how certain things were done: what’s the best way to create an enemy AI in a turn-based combat system? How to design cool characters that work well within the environments created? How to balance the difficulty of a game according to the progress of the player throughout the game? 


I wasn’t able to find the answer to these questions or many others that presented along the way. So, once I finished Mobius of Magic, I decided to write a free small book for all those who want to see what happens behind the scenes.


I tried to keep things as simple as possible, so that the reader doesn’t have to have extended notions of programming or design. I really hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did developing Mobius of Magic. It’s been an incredible year for me and I really want to share the experience with the players.
