I've always been a firm believer in second chances, though I never imagined needing one myself. When my husband Daniel, my childhood sweetheart and father of our two almost-grown kids, passed away, he left me with cherished memories, our family beach restaurant, and his lifelong friends, the Posse. About a year after his death, a few of these friends surprised me with their attention, wining and dining me.
