The Visva-Bharati Quarterly Founded by Rabindranath Tagore in 1923, is a peer reviewed journal published by Visva-Bharati and maintains an interdisciplinary thrust from its inaugural issue. One distintive feature of this journal - a feature that marks them out from other journals is that It publishes articles on a wide range of issues including many writings, speeches, languages, social sciences, translation studies, social work, rural reconstruction, music, performance, visual arts, film and media studies, education and science. Translations of the various writings of Rabindranath Tagore are also published. A part from this the volumes offer a wide spectrum of Tagore's English prose pieces- lectures, essays, letters, speeches, tributes, and conversations and interviews.
