Venice Beach, California, was my lodgings for seven years. I worshiped every minute of being a local in this decorative, chaotic place. The melancholy, spectacle, and hell chemical drugs brought each day to the local users are authentic, scary, and rowdy. The rampant use of synthetic stimulants climbed each year with ferocious power. The age range of narcotic consumption has hooked lost street teenagers to old baby boomers. The alluring human-made poisons are not picky; they strike like an Egyptian Cobra at anybody wanting a golden high. Some unfortunate users lasted a few days, and others for years in the beachside neighborhood clawing through each day for the next strange dose. In this salty area, you can easily order a full plate of tasty goodies like Krokodile, Spice, Bromo-DragonFLY, Go-go Juice, Flakka, 2C, and DiPT, to name a few. Chump change or a deck of $100 bills will undoubtedly get you a mixture of strange chemicals to start or feed your ravage addiction. The short stories I penned for "V" are factual encounters with locals and strangers on unhinged drugs at random times and places. The tales are heartbreaking, savage, and entertaining. Each chapter begins with drug facts not affiliated with the story; it is information for curiosity and education.
