Alright, mate, let me tell you about this book I just finished—absolute madness, it was. And not in the good way either. Thought it’d be a nice one to pass the time between fares, yeah? But nah, this one, it was all over the place.

First off, the story itself is dead silly. And I mean silly. I reckon the author meant it like that, to be fair—making it all slapstick or whatever. But, honestly, mate, it was a bit much. Everywhere you look, there’s a new character popping up, and you can’t even keep track of them. I mean, if it were just two or three extra folks here and there, alright, fine. But this author’s gone and chucked in so many, I thought I was reading a phone book!

As for the plot—if you could call it that—it’s about as weak as a cup of tea made on its fifth teabag, yeah? Barely held together, and you’re just reading along like, Where’s this even going? It’s like the writer’s taking you for a joyride with no destination. And I don’t mind a bit of a laugh, a bit of silliness, but I tell ya, this one was just over the top.

Now, I’ve read this author’s stuff before, and those other ones, they had me hooked, you know? I actually enjoyed them, got me through a few shifts. But this one? Not even close, mate.
