What Is It Like To Be Blind‪?‬

This story is about a great friendship between Adam and Blake. These young boys enjoy getting together to play whenever their moms visit one another. Adam knows that their friendship is very special because Blake is blind. Adam decides being blind is a little like having your eyes closed all the time; you can only figure out what something is by touch, sound, smell and taste. Adam shuts his eyes and tries to figure out what various things are around him. The scariest moment is when he feels the bump from a possible dinosaur!



Adam learns what it really means to be thoughtful with his friend, Blake. Adam also tells Blake's mom all he has learned with his experiments with being blind. At the conclusion of the story, readers discover that Blake and Adam are real friends that live in Texas.
