Wicker City is no place for a lone wolf. Will she choose a side in the city's constant power struggle? Or will she forge her own path?
Blending the ruthless political maneuvering of Gangs of New York with the survival horror of The Last of US, Wicker City paints a picture of mankind not united, but fractured by a monstrous threat.

Fabulous!
“We are one heart, one mind, but many blades. Anyone who stands against one of us, stands against all of us.”
Strange, original and unique, a fresh take on a Dystopian, post apocalyptic story, a completely different, gritty and complex storyline, with compelling characters and a hard bitten world, the aftermath of a disaster, the origin of it still unclear, hidden in the broken city and wastelands. A city defended by various factions of warlords, walled to keep the Elsewhere people and the Diluted( the mutated) out.
It unravels bit by bit through twisted events and insights of two story telling main protagonists. Great world building, action, danger, a struggle for power, where the rest of the survivors are always the ones to suffer the egocentricity and cruelty at the hands of a few. A story of personal courage and commitment, how it’s so easy to fall in the arms of evil, but resistance and resilience keeps Elena going forward, in spite of deceit, secrecy and vileness. Wicker City paints a picture of mankind not united, but fractured by a monstrous threat. It’s a tangled web of suspense artfully woven by the author, a spectacular way to keep us glued to the book. I loved it! I certainly want to read the sequel soon!
