The further things go in this high-tension thrill ride, the more suspicious we felt about everyone in the story. We were listening with white knuckles as we tried to predict the next surprise turn—and we were always wrong. But McFadden is so great at orchestrating an expert game of cat and mouse, we were glad just to be along for the ride. Alyson Krawchuk puts so much colour and personality into the narration that we expected to turn around and see Natalie sitting right next to us. The Coworker will have you totally rapt—when it isn’t giving you the shivers.
