A. John Gallant v. Shannon T. Gallant

This appeal arises out of a divorce proceeding. The trial court determined the adjusted income levels for each party in order to set child support, divided the husbands pensions evenly, allocated all marital debt to the husband, ordered reorientation alimony paid to the wife for five years and ordered the parties to bear their own attorneys fees and costs. After the courts order on the division of the pensions, but before issuance of a Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) implementing the order, the husband filed for bankruptcy. The husband challenges the adequacy of the factual findings and argues that the QDRO violates the automatic bankruptcy stay.
