After Hours

Built like an Amazon, Jaide has made a living as a soldier since she was turned into a vampire over a century ago. Now she has earned her place as a guard in the house of two master vampires, Alex Gage and Lucas Thane. Jaide is confident in herself as a fighter. She's less sure of herself when it comes to a certain muscular, blue-eyed guard.

Brasen sees the woman behind the warrior and is determined to make Jaide his own. He bombards her with flowers, candlelight, and romance with the same single-minded devotion he uses in battle. Unfortunately, when Taspar Tong—a nasty born vampire with an army at his disposal—wages war against their territory, Brasen doesn't have much time for courtship. He has to prove to Jaide that they're as good together out in the field as they are in bed, but that's not easy with a woman who can arouse him with just the scent of her hair. Lives are on the line, and they'll have to save the loving for after hours.
