Janet Leary, Angela's mother, to whom he confesses about his true identity, accepts his appearance in her only daughter's as providential and supprts her transformation into a superwoman.
As a result of her accomplishment on board the ship, Angelea is recruited by the Secretary of Homeland security to serve as his special deputy and uproot many would-be domestic terrorsists from the fabric of American society.
