Publisher Description

These are recipes that I have shared with many friends on our boat. It started with the Apple Crisp. This is one of my first well known recipe's. Delicious, warm and the smell as it cooks in your oven is enough to put you right over the edge. The perfect combination for a dessert, all you need is a scoop of vanilla ice cream or some fresh whipped cream! We have taken many of these recipes to “Sun Downer” parties. What is a “Sun Downer Party” you ask? It's when we get together with a bunch of other boaters on the dock, at sundown. We watch the sunset and bring our own beverage and a dish to share. We visit and talk about the weather and our boats and our families, share advice and tips and recipes. It's just an excuse to get together and share a variety of different food while the sun goes down. Why we never did this on land is beyond me!

This is why I brought this book together, a wide variety of dishes that you can share with friends at your home, at your dock, at a potluck, whatever you wish! I was propositioned once for my Hot Taco Dip! Warm, flavorful, cheesy, add a crunchy tortilla chip, just make sure you give it enough time to cool or you will burn off the roof of your mouth. Italian Wedding Soup, warm on a cool night, easy to put together, add a fresh baguette and you have a meal! Pasta salad, a favorite for an offshore snack, or when you are taking a picnic to the beach. Easy, quick and so tasty, just grab your favorite italian dressing! Bread Dips, Bacon Wrapped Sea Scallops, Spicy Avocado Salsa, Sloppy Joes, Cold Taco Dip, and one of my favorites fried Wontons and Crab Rangoon! All of these recipes and more. Twenty five of my favorites! Hope you enjoy them and come back for more!
