"I was told by a friend that this book was a 'space comedy,' and after a quick and enjoyable read, I couldn't agree any more with that description. The quirky blend of science fiction and humor is itself nicely integrated with the story of Edgar and Charlie, two unlikely friends that lean heavily on each other to survive the 200+ page roller coaster ride. The ride is intense, but fun and well worth the effort.

"The story begins on Earth, then zooms around the Galaxy, dropping in and out of different worlds with dizzying speed. The earliest chapters move slowly, but once the duo enters space, abruptly fires on all cylinders and doesn't let up until the surprise ending. Katana describes some unforgettable scenes and characters well suited the genre (such as the mysterious Frisco Summerfield), but his strongest work is in the clever satire of modern conveniences with which we are increasingly becoming consumed. The dongles commonly used in today's computing may as well be the dongles in the story, which Katana depicts as antennae-like receivers worn on the characters' heads to rewind and review scenes for mass consumption. Katana's description of Planet Lollilop is also particularly memorable.

"Our heroes never pause for breath in the frenetic but effective story-telling style of Katana. In quick succession, Edgar finds, loses, then again finds love in the GoGo (an intergalatic discotheque) and Charlie learns that pranking can create enemies he'd long since forgotten. Yet amidst the chase scenes and Babel fish zombie infestations, Katana pauses to interject some wonderfully original tidbits from the unashamedly science-fiction backdrop, ranging from the Frenchie way to travel to Oxitil cocktails and Pygmalian Juicers. While Edgar and Charlie's friendship ultimately returns them from the ends of the Galaxy back to more familiar confines, Katana is quick to remind us that more adventure is just a quick Galactic Taxi ride away.

"Read it for yourself- I highly recommend this book to anyone!"
