Sylvie Aubin Department of Psychology ABSTRACT: Hypoactive Sexual Desire disorders (HSD) are among the most complex and difficult sexual disorders to treat. Although most experts in sex therapy currently recognize the role of negative thoughts and other dysfunctional cognitive processes in the etiology and maintenance of desire disorders, no scientific studies have specifically examined the types and nature of cognitive processes associated with HSD.
