What if his nightmares aren't dreams?

Though Stephen vowed to never again step foot in his Nana's house, he will do so one more time—to say goodbye. He doesn't expect her to ask him for one last favor: to look out for his young cousin—who has the same gift he does.

Though Stephen just wants to go home, he can't say no to the woman who raised him, so he befriends young Jeremiah—who has his own secrets. Suddenly, the unlikely twosome are thrust into a dreamworld that doesn't make sense. Is any of it real?

Trying to escape this alternate reality, they meet a young woman being held captive. They don't know how to help her, but they certainly can't leave her there.

To fight a supernatural war, Stephen will have to admit that supernatural armor exists. Young Jeremiah insists that there's a God in charge, above all this madness, but Stephen's not so sure.

The war's first battle will be fought in Stephen's own mind.

And if Stephen can't face the truth, that young woman is going to die.
