God’s love, God’s mercy, and God’s grace for all mankind saved us—our savior JESUS Christ whom God put on all our sins to wear. JESUS knew no sin, and JESUS took God’s wrath upon himself for all mankind. 

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3: 16)
