Landfall

June is starting off smashingly for retired British spy Irma Abercrombie on Canada's Beaver Island, with the funeral of an enemy! But all good things must come to an end, and soon she finds herself confronting her biggest problem—her gentleman friend, Boris, is missing. Even worse, an islander claiming knowledge of his whereabouts might not be able to spill the beans to her after all.

Meanwhile, there's a new movement sweeping the island: a return to nature, with a swanky spa that promises to digitally detox islanders from their screen addictions. Irma thinks it sounds great. Nerdy summer houseguest Violet Blackheart, not so much. Either way, something's not quite right at the spa, which sets Irma and Violet on a collision course with what might be a cult of anti-tech worshippers.

How will Beaver Island's amateur sleuths navigate the rough seas standing between them and Boris? Violet and Irma are on their most dangerous case yet—and one thing they know for sure: Landfall can't come soon enough.
