Librarian Iseul Bae believes in hard work, loyalty, and building a life on her own terms.

CEO William Park has spent his life always meeting the expectations of others.

When their paths collide in Los Angeles' Koreatown, it is anything but love at first sight. Iseul believes William's aloof and entitled; William sees her as judgemental, guarded, and impossible to read. They couldn't be any more different.

But life has a funny way of bringing people together.

As their lives continue to intersect in unexpected ways, those initial impressions begin to shift. Through William's quiet responsibility and Iseul's care for others, they start to recognize something rare in one another: the possibility of being chosen for who they are - not who they are meant to be.
