On Dragons' Wings

Young Sharlie is happy in her job as Captain of the Guard in the town of Six Forks. Then one day, the spiteful Count of Stovall has her fired and forces her to leave town. When Sharlie leaves in search of work, she encounters an old elf who claims to be The Mighty Ju-Ju. 500 years ago during the Great War, he was known as the Master of Dragons when he was befriended by the powerful and benevolent High Dragons. With the help of these servants of the Creator, Ju-Ju defeated the evil Scarlet Sage and his hoard of demons. Now nearing the end of his life, Ju-Ju wants Sharlie to replace him as the High Dragons' liaison to Earth. Sharlie is thrust into an ongoing conflict with the Duke of Longthorn and a mysterious man in black as they battle her for control over ancient and powerful magic items. When Sharlie uncovers a plot by the man in black that she believes endangers the entire Earth, she must find her courage and find a way to foil the plots of the man in black and, hopefully, save the Earth from destruction.
