Plato's Hat I
Designer Knitting Pattern
Publisher Description
The design of Plato’s Hat was an accidental discovery. One day deep in winter, while I was working on a dog coat for Plato and was half way up the belly, I decided to wear it like a hat, just for fun. I was surprised at how comfortable and snuggly it felt. Of course, to make the hat, it was necessary to make some changes to the pattern. We can’t have leg holes on our heads like the dog coat! Hence, the title Plato’s Hat I was conceived.
As in my previous books, all the knitting patterns are accompanied by graphs, charts, diagrams, flow charts, and heavy laden with rendered drawings. I used Short Rows to make the flaps that covered the sides of the face.
