Powerful

The world needs hope and encouragement now more than ever. We’re living in a time when life as we know it has been turned upside down. Those of us who have spent our days, weeks, months, years distracted, busy yet unproductive, and relationally unfulfilled are now forced to be alone with ourselves — and the people we share an address with.
Some of us have chosen to make sure our elderly parents are safe by staying close and making sure they’re not acting like teenagers and sneaking out of the house during a national quarantine.

Most other people who work in health care, grocery stores, some retail stores, and pharmacies — people who were once considered low-level and expendable — are now being touted as “essential,” rendering the lawyers, actors, and bankers “non- essential.”

The world as we know it has been turned upside down, and people are feeling scared, confused, and powerless.

I desire that as you read this, the words on these pages will spark in you hope and encouragement.

I desire that the words on these pages remind you that you are still in control, you have been given the gift of time to reevaluate and reset, and you are POWERFUL.
