The good bits were few and far apart
I hated Teddy’s unnecessary drama more than I can describe. If you volunteer to help a grieving man and child, you should be able to put your own shhht aside. And if you can’t leave them alone to grieve.
As the book drew to a close, it got better, but not enough.
Oh, and the representation of Swedish culture was abysmal, and I say that as a bitter Finn, who has no problem seeing our neighbours ridiculed.
