Random Strangers

Random Strangers is a series of photographs taken of strangers over the internet via Chat Roulette. 


As culture becomes progressively digitized we spend increasing amounts of our time and attention in front of screens of all kinds.  We are often looking at computers, but we rarely allow them to look back at us, let alone capture our expressions and surroundings.  This series of photographs is both a collection of individual portraits and an effort to consider how we look as we spend countless hours of our lives engaged with digital media.   


The iPad version includes an "Exhibition Format," providing a full-screen, looping slideshow for display purposes.
