Roycroft was a community of craft workers founded by Elbert Hubbard in 1895 in East Aurora, New York. Roycrofters, as they were known, were part of the Arts and Crafts Movement in the United States and were made up of furniture makers, leathersmiths, metalworkers, printers and bookbinders. Roycroft furniture became popularly known as "Mission" style.
