Ne'er do well Jake, after a mediocre military service is just trying to get by in the galaxy. A string of odd jobs and bad luck have left him stranded and broke on the mining planet of Kerella V. A chance encounter with a beautiful woman named Shelain, an alien from a race called Meridian's, drags him into a plot by blood thirsty aliens known as the Basnigh, to overthrow the Consortium; a benevolent government created by the Aswari, an advanced alien race who have taken the role of protectors of the galaxy. Now Jake and Shelain must not only survive, but work to uncover their plot and stop the Basnigh.
