Publisher Description

Science is all about enquiry and discovery.  It is important to allow children to develop their sense of enquiry early and allow them to explore the world around them to help them make sense of it.

One of the things that can hold a child back is when they find it hard to conceive the facts because they are so far away from their own initial thoughts about a topic.

So why not let them create their own stories as they develop their ideas about scientific concepts.

When we engage learners in the learning process, they can bridge the gaps in understanding for themselves.  Scientific storytelling is the process of documenting this discovery and providing the child with an opportunity to share their own findings with others.

As they work through their enquiry they will discover new questions to be answered and unlock a whole world of discovery.
