Seeing Things

In Volume 2 of The DreamGate Chronicles -- “Seeing Things” -- we dig deeper into the mystery of who Farah is. That mystery begins with the hacker Bozon, who’s built an algorithm that recognizes, in the massive stream of digital surveillance feed, the faces and words and actions that may be part of a bigger story, a glimpse of meaning in the random data flow. But who else is interested enough in Farah to be gathering massive intel on one young math quant and dreamer?


Taking advantage of the new multi-touch capabilities, “Seeing Things” isn’t just a book, it’s an interactive, multi-level experience. Each reader follows their own course, using word, voice and image, including sophisticated animated episodes, to piece together the images and information that illuminate more and more of Farah’s story. Like any good puzzle, there are many paths to get to the heart, and whatever path you’re on, there is probably another even richer.


In the first volume of the Chronicles, “Decision Point” , Farah, facing an attack by armed paramilitaries, has only a few seconds to escape. Before she can act, she tries to remember how she got to that place, and what her options are now. “Seeing Things"  digs deeper into her dreams, and her waking-life awareness of the black-clad “watchers”. Why are they watching her?
