With the cult of Jorgununda spreading, Ember and Herne have returned to Seattle to reestablish the Wild Hunt. Morgana introduces them to Ash, one of a new breed of Fae who's come out of the shadows. Eventually, Ash will work for the Wild Hunt as an liaison between the Court of the Crystal Fae and Saílle, the Queen of Darkness and Névé, the Queen of Light, a daunting task in itself. But first, Ember and the gang must help Nalina, a coyote-shifter who's being plagued by will-o'-the-wisps, to prevent them from luring her to her death.
