Taming the Highland Rogue

To protect her clan from loveless marriages, one defiant Highland countess must outwit the ruthless laird who holds her heart.

Scotland, 1307

Laird Connor MacLerie is ruthless, a fact his wife, Jocelyn, knows all too well—particularly when it comes to arranging marriages for members of his clan.

Though they found happiness and passion themselves, Jocelyn had been bought as a bride for Connor herself and doesn't want to see another woman betrothed without consent. She hatches a matchmaking plot of her own—but it will only succeed if she can tame her Highland husband!

Within Broch Dubh Keep, Jocelyn enlists her companions to search the laird’s private strongbox for clan betrothal contracts. Conspiring in secret before a wedding feast, she risks everything to uncover his negotiations—before Connor can pledge another innocent daughter to an unchosen fate.

Yet the formidable laird is not so easily deceived. Catching his wife red-handed, Connor bars the chamber door to demand an explanation—only to find their fierce confrontation dissolving into irresistible passion.
