Publisher Description

The first rule of journalism: never date another journalist. Especially not your infuriating, posh, distractingly handsome rival.

Former council estate kid Sunny Miller dreamed of hard-hitting journalism. Instead, he's stuck at Britain's trashiest tabloid, where all his exposés are given comedy headlines. Ludo Boche has the career Sunny wants - at the prestigious Sentinel, where his father happens to be editor. Charming, chaotic and born with every advantage, he's everything Sunny can't stand.

Then one explosive political scandal lands in both their laps, and Fleet Street's bitterest rivals are forced to work together - from Westminster's corridors of power to one very questionable hotel on a remote Scottish island. Scooping each other is fair game. Falling for each other would be a catastrophe.

Inside this book you'll find:
Enemies to lovers (rival newspapers, one story)Class war: council estate vs country pileForced proximity (the B&B was really small)A found family of gloriously nosy friends and relativesVery British humour and headlines that should be crimes
Good to know:
Closed-door romance (all the chemistry, no explicit scenes)Dual point of viewGuaranteed happily ever after (because even journalists deserve nice things, occasionally)Can be read as a standalone.
Perfect for readers who loved Red, White & Royal Blue and Boyfriend Material and want something even more British.

The Paper Boys is Book 1 of the Brent Boys series. Every book stands alone; the laughs are cumulative.

Annukka_ ,

A fun read with good chemistry!

I enjoyed the banter and found the story interesting. Part of me would have loved to see a little more of the “will they, won’t they”, and I did find it weird how hard it was for a couple of young guys to just send a text to clarify things, when a change of plans occurred…
