Not making excuses or living in denial of who you are, where you’ve been, or what you’ve experienced. By dealing with our past hurts, scars, and failures we can have victory in every area of our life.
I want you to let this idea sink in; no matter where you start in life, with God, you can have a great finish. The world is full of people who’ve been mistreated, abused, or forgotten in some way. Some of us are pretending to be okay when, in fact, we’re emotionally and spiritually wounded on the inside. But God is not in the business of pretending. He wants us to be authentically healed, whole, and free!
The truth is, Jesus died to set us free from the pain of our past, and through a relationship with Him, we can experience total healing. We all can have a brand-new beginning! As you read through this book please take a time to reflect on what’s been holding you back, and keeping you stuck.

So much of our lives are spent feeding the needs of our addictions, insecurities, and false expectations that we never get a chance to live free in the moment, or pursue our purpose. Most of us have never lived unbound a day in our lives.

As a father, I see my little girl’s face light up when I tell her yes, when I give her permission. She runs with reckless abandonment, nothing holds her back, because she knows, her dad said YES! Your heavenly father wants to say yes to you, he wants to give you permission. You have an identity that has eluded you because you’ve been looking for permission in all the wrong places.
God wants to give us the fatherly permission we’ve always needed so we can run after our purpose with childlike faith.
