Connor LaPorte is done hiding. His return to Quebec is his last shot at stardom; he should be focusing on upholding his father’s legendary hockey legacy, not having a disastrous first NHL season, and finally meeting everyone’s expectations.

Instead, he meets Théo, a youth coach who treats him like he’s just… normal. He’s patient, completely unimpressed by Connor’s famous surname, and the one constant in Connor’s chaotic season.

But Théo is dangerously easy to fall for, and Connor has never been good at hiding his heart. So when his teammates start pointing out things he hadn’t even realised himself, Connor must accept that some feelings refuse to stay quiet. And this time, he'll have to decide whether love is worth the fight.

L.A. Jasper is a British writer who grew up with their nose in a book and their heart in the saddle; then, in later years, turned to both writing and cosplay to express their creativity. They spent several years working on a ranch in Northwest Arkansas, before returning home to England to focus on writing. L.A. is a Seattle Kraken fan, a collector of hobbies (with varying levels of aptitude), and when not writing can be found attempting to pet as many dogs as possible.
