Skip is living paycheck to paycheck, awaiting the day when his pregnant wife Teri gives birth. Dan, his best friend, lives a mystical life of money, power, and travels all over the world. When Dan comes into town, he convinces Skip to take a night out with him, a night of lavish wealth and wild encounters.

After the loss of their child, Skip is drawn to the dog showing lifestyle, one where money and power dominate the scene. As he and Teri navigate their way through this new world, they are drawn into the lifestyle, one of corruption, intrigue, but also of freedom.
